The dare-devil and the princess
Last day of swimming lessons last night. Noah is such a dare devil. He climbs right up that high dive and runs off the end. I asked him to wait at the end of the board so I can get a picture. "OK, Mom...are you done yet?" Then he goes back to make sure he gets a running start. You know that sound you hear when someone does a belly flop or in this case a face flop? Does that stop my boy? No, he shakes it off and goes again.
Meanwhile his sister is sitting at the edge of pool. That's her in the picture with the frowny face. She will not go down the slide even though the 2 year olds are going down the slide. "Leave me alone, Mom, I am not going." But, Emme, look at the..."Just walk away, mom", she says. Walk away, my little princess says to me.
