Hello, hello, hello

It's been so long, I forgot my password. I thought perhaps I aim too high. Maybe I can shoot for posting once each month? Hello, hello, is this thing on? Have I lost all 3 of you?


Anyway, a few quick thoughts to close out August...

Dang, it's hot.

Football, ugh! Practice 5 days a week for 7 year old's. Seems a bit much. Don't you think? And it's not just the heat I complain about. No, no. It's the evil concession stand! Every day, at least one kid gets sour punch candy and gatorade. What do they do with their booty? Do they sit quietly and eat it. I think we all know the answer don't we? They parade that nectar of the gods up and down the rows of parents and children, smiling and not sharing, singing, (altogether now) I got some ice cream, I got some ice cream, and you don't have none , and you can't have mine, naner naner naner.

Elgin Bears, please if it's not too much to ask, close the stinking concession stand! Perhaps we can agree to open it one or two days each week? Otherwise, I am afraid, between the heat and the naner, naner, you just might need that ambulance for the spectators and not the players.
